⚡ Canon 5D Mark Iii Used With Lens

Thanks. 02-10-2023 01:41 AM. The 5DIII will not record video to both cards at the same time. If you are shooting with the SD card currently, then that is perfectly fine, you just can't record to the CF card. If it is helpful, you can download the 5DIII manual from THIS LINK I hope this will be helpful! The previous poster said non-Canon. There are some non-Canon lenses for aps-c, but with EF mount. Like Tokina's 12-24. Those will fit FF and not hit the mirror. But regardless of that I can not understand why anyone wants to use aps-c lenses on FF. Regards, Sandor. Did you google "AF microadjust". That's what it's called, not lens calibration. I don't have a 5d MkIII but in the 7D it is in the custom function menu. I assume it's the same on the 5D MkIII. The procedure is pretty much the same for all EOS bodies with AF microadjust capability.

. Although most older manual focus Pentax lenses (along with other manufactures) can be used with Canon crop bodies without issues, the full frame bodies, with their larger mirrors, can present a problem with some lenses. Here is a lens compatibility chart for the older 5D, but it is probable the same or close with the mark III also. Canon: Canon EOS 5D Mark III (body only) and the Canon EF 50mm f/1.4. Canon has produced a successor to the Mark III, the EOS 5D Mark IV, which is notably more expensive.
